A topical numbing cream is used, so there is minimal discomfort. Some patients have likened it to the feeling of a dry brush on the skin.
You will continue to see improvements in your skin as your body’s natural repair process creates more collagen. Most patients see noticeable results after 4-8 weeks.
The effects of Intensif® RF Microneedling will last indefinitely with maintenance treatments (every 6-12 months).
You need to wait 4 weeks between each session. Depending on your objectives, we recommend a treatment course of 3-5 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart.
It takes roughly a day to recover from Intensif® RF Microneedling. After your treatment, you will appear to have warm and tight sun burnt skin; this is entirely normal and will dissipate within a few hours. You will likely notice mild “grid” marks on your skin for a few days, which may be covered with makeup.
