About Restylane
Restylane is a range of products for facial beauty treatment. They are designed to effectively reduce the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, contour and create volume, and to rejuvenate the skin.
Restylane is a gel-based on stabilized hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a substance that naturally exists in your body. The gel is injected into the skin.
A treatment with Restylane provides an easy way to stay in control of your looks. The result of a single treatment can be seen instantly and may last up to one year. With Restylane, you will get a natural-looking result that does not affect facial expressions. Your looks remain under your control.
By replenishing the skin’s supply of hyaluronic acid, Restylane rejuvenates and adds volume to the skin, instantly diminishing the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and giving a natural softer look. The gel is tissue-friendly and closely resembles the hyaluronic acid that exists naturally in the body. It is long-lasting but not permanent.
The most common areas treated are:
- nose to mouth lines (the nasolabial folds)
- between the eyebrows (the glabella lines)
- lips (adding volume and shape)
- cheeks and chin (shaping and contouring)
- back of the hands, décolletage, face, neck (skin rejuvenation)
One of the great advantages of Restylane is that the effects are long-lasting but not permanent. Duration depends on many factors, such as the individual’s skin type, lifestyle, and age.
After the initial treatment, follow-up sessions are normally recommended around every 6 to 12 months depending on the individual and the treatment.
Depending on your volume needs, most Restylane treatment appointments last less than an hour and begin to work almost immediately.
Feel like you look tired even when you’re not? Where did those dark circles come from? Noticing deep lines that run from your nose toward the corners of your mouth making you look a lot older than you really are? Lines running from the corners of your mouth toward your chin dragging you down? Age can do a real number on any number of places on our face. Resylane-L can go a long way in reversing these daunting signs of aging.
Manage The Damage
With Restylane-L all those wrinkles or creases that appear around the outer corners of the mouth and eyes, the ones you go to sleep hoping won’t be there in the morning, can be significantly reduced. Restylane-L is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid that is specifically formulated to act like your body’s own naturally produced hyaluronic acid.
Hyaluronic acid seems to be the new buzzword in a slew of anti-aging creams and over-the-counter products, its popularity due to its ability to hold onto and prevent moisture loss. Which is key in making your skin appear and feel smooth, soft and plump.
Erase Time
The important thing to know is that no cream or supposed over-the-counter miracle maker (and pricey doesn’t mean a thing) is the same as getting Restylane-L. Restylane-L is a well-tested and documented medical answer to the signs of aging.
Restylane-L injections as safely administered by Adore Aesthetix board-certified physician assistant Sarah Kurts, are proven to make an undeniable difference. If you see some “deal” for a hydrofluoric product, “run” might be a good suggestion. And the place to run to is the place you can count on getting real results: Adore Aesthetix.
What is Restylane Lyft?
Restylane Lyft is approved for cheek augmentation and the correction of age-related midface contour deficiencies, as well as the treatment of moderate to severe facial folds, such as the nasolabial folds (smile lines). Lyft is the first and only FDA-approved filler with the ability to provide fullness to the cheeks, as well as restore lost volume in the midface area. Lyft contains 0.3% lidocaine, which is added to reduce the discomfort during treatment.
Need A Lyft?
Who is that old, tired-looking person starting back at you in the mirror? You look gaunt… and are those jowls? Regrettably, with time, the natural fat that surrounds the cheeks begins to deteriorate resulting in sagging skin, more prominent wrinkles, and a reduction of volume. The face you had when you were you were young isn’t going to come back on its own. For those of you around Denver, there is a way to restore the volume in your face with Restylane Lyft.
With Restylane Lyft, (which used to be called Perlane-L) you can look in the mirror and say “take that!” Because Restylane Lyft can take on even the deepest folds, lines and hollows in mid-face and cheeks, restoring the volume and contours that used to be there before age started to take its toll.
Restylane is the first and only FDA-approved treatment for these issues. This allows patients to confidently, safely and affordably obtain noticeable and natural, long-lasting results.
See What’s Possible
You might be thinking, “Can it be true?” The answer is absolutely yes. It’s all possible. This dermal filler can deliver amazing results. But know this: it matters where you get Restylane Lyft injections and who administers them.
Without question, in the Denver area, there is no one you can trust more than all the skilled and experience professional staff at Adore Aesthetix. All our dermal filler injections including Restylane Lyft are performed by Sarah Kurts, board-certified physician assistant. The results? You, only younger (and also noticeably happier).
What is Restylane Refyne?
Restylane Refyne integrates with your skin to help smooth out the lines that run alongside the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds and marionette lines)* and the flexibility you need for natural-looking movement and expressions.
Express Yourself Beautifully
Laugh lines, also called marionette lines or nasolabial folds (if you want to get medical), are those grooves, creases or folds that run vertically from the corners of the mouth down to the chin. Ironically, laugh lines are not caused by years of laughing.
As you age, collagen and elastin (two crucial skin components to younger-looking skin) begin to break down. Your skin loses its fullness and its ability to bounce back into place, leading to wrinkles and creases like laugh lines. It’s absolutely nothing to laugh about. But with Restylane Refyne, you can feel more than hopeful.
Restylane Refyne can help put the happy back on your face. Restylane Refyne injections can plump your skin, improve collagen production, and bring moisture to the area, literally “filling” in those laugh lines. This can help restore a more natural look to your face while maintaining your facial expressions. And with Restylane Refyne, one of those expressions could be “ecstatic”.
The Natural Choice
While we’re talking about natural, the natural place to get Restylane Refyne injections in the Denver area is Adore Aesthetix. When it comes to fillers like Restylane Refyne, there’s an art to doing it right, and no one approaches things with a more artistic eye than Sarah Kurts, board-certified physician assistant.
With Restylane Lyft, she uses a less is more approach that is unique to each patient. So you’ll never get a look that is overdone and unnatural. Because no one’s best look is not looking like themselves.
What is Restylane Defyne?
Restylane Defyne is designed to act like your body’s own hyaluronic acid to help smooth out deeper lines around your mouth (nasolabial folds and marionette lines) while letting you look more natural through a range of facial expressions.
As the body ages, its supply of collagen gradually breaks down, which diminishes facial volume and elasticity. This loss of elasticity and volume makes facial wrinkles and folds appear more prominent. Your face takes on the look of a permanent frown, making you look sad, tired or angry, even when you’re not. Not funny. But there is something to smile about: Restylane Defyne.
Don’t Let Wrinkles Define You
With Restylane Defyne, you can look like you did when you were younger. You can look more energized and more refreshed. Restylane Defyne is as effective as Restylane Refyne, but Restylane Defyne is more suitable for certain applications due to the particular muscle and skin movements of each area.
Restylane Defyne is designed to help maintain a natural look through a range of facial expressions while smoothing out deeper lines and wrinkles in the skin, and like Restylane Refyne, Restylane Defyne is long-lasting, up to 12 months.

What is Restylane Kysse®?
Restylane Kysse® is an FDA approved hyaluronic acid gel filler commonly used for enhancing the lips. It can also be used to correct upper lip lines. Restylane Kysse® has been used throughout Europe and Canada for the last few years, but it wasn’t introduced to America until 2020.
Restylane® Kysse is used to treat the lips. It helps to improve lip smoothness and texture and also reduces the appearance of fine lines. The treatment also enhances the lip’s appearance and will make them look plumper.
Enhance Your Lips
Do you want to add volume and definition to your lips? Perhaps you have fine lines around your mouth that you want to get rid of? Or wrinkles at the corner of your mouth that make you look and feel older than you are? Or maybe you want to change the shape of your lips and make them look fuller?
Restylane® has recently launched a new filler called Restylane® Kysse, specifically designed for the lips. The treatment is a hyaluronic acid gel filler that can be injected into the mouth to create added volume and improve lip shape. Plastic surgeons have hailed the treatment as the ultimate lip filler.
Restylane® Kysse uses hyaluronic acid gel which is often used in over the counter anti-aging creams. It has become very popular in recent years and is used in many of Restylane’s other fillers. Restylane® Kysse will help to make your lips look and feel smooth and soft and will help to add volume.
Reverse Signs of Aging
Restylane® Kysse is FDA approved and well tested, it’s proven to reduce signs of aging, and the results last for up to a year. If you have fine lines around your mouth, an injection of Restylane® Kysee can help smooth out the wrinkles, making you look and feel younger. Aging often causes the lips to become thinner, and the skin under the nose will get flatter. Treatment will help to restore your philtrum and give your lips a lift.
Having signs of aging around your mouth can change how others view you as it can make you look sad or even angry. Restylane® Kysse is specifically designed to be used for the lips and around the mouth; it’s much softer and more flexible than fillers intended for use in other areas.
The gel filler will integrate with the skin’s tissues, making you look great whether you’re at rest or smiling, talking, or eating.
Restylane Contour® is a dermal filler injected under the (facial) skin. Once in place, it helps restore volume of your midface. Restylane Contour may also be used to increase fullness of your cheeks. Restylane Contour is made out of hyaluronic acid (HA) – a naturally occurring sugar, found in the body that gives the skin moisture, volume and elasticity – and a small amount of lidocaine, which is a commonly used local anesthetic to numb the skin. Restylane Contour is crosslinked with BDDE, an ingredient that helps form a network of HA, to provide a gel filler that lasts longer at the treatment site.

After the initial treatment, follow-up sessions are normally recommended around every 6 to 12 months depending on the individual and the treatment. A treatment of the lips lasts about 6 months.
Initial Restylane treatments are usually complete in one or two sessions, as needed. Depending on your individual body chemistry, you will work with your specialist to determine a maintenance schedule. Talk to your provider or healthcare professional about your individual needs.
More than 20 million treatments have been performed since the launch of Restylane in 1996. Product related reactions are rare.
There are some injection-related reactions that may occur after injection; they typically resolve spontaneously a few days after injection to the skin, within a week after injection into the lips and within two weeks after injection. These reactions include redness, swelling, pain, itching, bruising or tenderness at the injection site.
After a lip enhancement, your lips may be swollen for up to a week.
In case of more pronounced reactions or if they last longer than a week, contact your practitioner.

Patients should be limited to 6.0 mL per treatment of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.
Swelling may be more likely in patients under 36 years, and bruising may be more likely in patients over 35 years.
